Quote from Attendee

"Thank you..! It was great. This has been SOOOO much better than my certification through.... I feel like I learned so much more and love the hybrid model. I can't wait to start LF3 😎" - Faith

Why a Virtual Test Out Model?

We understand that it is important for you to be able to show to prospective employers or clients, credentials which show how you have differentiated yourself from others. By completing a virtual test out with a member of our instructor team, you and those who work with you can be confident you have passed a course specifically to learn how to teach kettlebell fundamentals to others as opposed to just knowing the knowledge on paper. The virtual test out is a demonstration of the work you have put in and your ability to teach others that knowledge. Read more about what to prepare for in your LF2 test out here

How To Obtain

To obtain the LF2 designation, you must complete all the videos and multiple choice assessment online part of LF1 (material included with purchase of LF2) to prepare for your skills session. You will then complete a two hour online or in person one-on-one form coaching (example below) and teaching skills review with a member of our Senior Instructor Team. During this session, you will refine and demonstrate mastery of 8-10 lifts and conduct a teaching demo applying the Living.fit instructional model.

Course Test Out Example:

In this example, our Level 4 Instructor, Mike Silverman: https://www.living.fit/contributors/mike-silverman goes over the movements the attendee studied online and has her explain how to do them so she can demonstrate she can teach them to clients. The focus of this session is to demonstrate you can teach others before receiving your certificate. Mike starts the video by talking to the attendee about our model and why we have virtual test outs and then about 1 minute in they start the course. In the course Mike provides her with corrections, cues and more to help her better understand how to perform the movement and teach it to clients. After demonstrating that she can perform the movements properly as well as teach them to others through the verbal instructions she is giving, she is able to pass the course. The testing starts about 1:00 minute into the video.
