Living.Fit is a curated home and commercial gym equipment marketplace based in Austin, Texas. We manufacture our own line of made-in-USA rubber flooring and pro-grade resistance bands, and we hand-pick the best of the rest — strength, conditioning, mobility, and recovery gear from trusted fitness brands — so you can outfit a serious training space without chasing the right pieces across twenty different sites.
We are not a marketplace that lists everything. We carry what we would put in our own gym — backed by 20,000+ customer reviews since we opened in 2018.
Where we started
Living.Fit was founded in 2018 by Jay Perkins and Nehemiah Heard, who had previously built Kettlebell Kings into one of the most respected names in the kettlebell space (acquired in 2021). After that exit, we set out to do something harder: build a single destination for the full home gym — not just one category — without diluting the quality bar that makes specialty fitness brands worth buying from in the first place.
That meant two commitments from day one:
- Manufacture our own products where we could clearly do it better. That is where Living.Fit branded rubber flooring and resistance bands come from — designed in-house and built to outlast the equipment around them.
- Curate, don't aggregate. Every third-party brand we carry has earned its place. We turn down more than we add.
What we're known for
Gym flooring
Our USA-made rubber flooring rolls, interlocking tiles (18" and 24"), and precision-cut gym mats are engineered for heavy use and independently recognized by the two most rigorous testers in the category:
- Garage Gym Reviews named our rubber flooring rolls Best Home Gym Flooring Overall (2026) and our interlocking tiles Best Flooring Mats.

Whether you are outfitting a garage, a basement studio, or a commercial facility, the math is simple: thicker rubber, denser composition, longer life. We also do custom cuts.
Resistance bands
Our flagship Living.Fit resistance band sets are the bands trainers reach for when they want one piece of equipment that does the work of a whole rack — pull-up assistance, strength training, mobility, and travel. Three independent testers back them (2026): Garage Gym Reviews and Yahoo name them the best resistance bands overall, and Wirecutter names them its top pick for the best superband set. We have been refining the lineup for six years.

Living.Fit is more than a store. Our certified coaches build on-demand workout programs — full-body strength and conditioning, kettlebell and resistance-band training, and mobility and recovery work — spanning beginner progressions to elite challenges. Our standards
- Quality over breadth. We would rather carry one excellent rack than four mediocre ones.
- Made in USA where we can. Our flooring line is manufactured domestically, and the customers who care about it are our customers.
- Honest about fit. If a product isn't right for your use case, we will tell you. Bands instead of dumbbells. Rolls instead of tiles. The right answer beats the bigger order.
