Living.Fit rubber flooring rolls are the foundation of serious home and commercial gym floors. USA-made from recycled SBR rubber, available in five thicknesses, priced per square foot so you only buy what you need. BarBend named our flooring rolls the best home gym flooring — and it's the highest-revenue product in our catalog for a reason.
Choosing the Right Thickness
Thickness determines impact absorption and floor protection. For general cardio and light equipment areas, 6mm (1/4 inch) is the standard — affordable, durable, and protective without raising the floor height. For weight rooms where iron meets the floor, 8mm (5/16 inch) is the most popular choice, handling plate drops and equipment load without damage. For dedicated Olympic lifting platforms or commercial facilities where heavy drops are constant, 12mm (1/2 inch) provides full impact absorption. The 18mm (3/4 inch) option is for maximum cushioning under squat racks or for commercial installs with structural requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is rubber flooring sold — by the roll or by the square foot?
Our rubber flooring rolls are priced per square foot. You select the thickness and we cut to your specified length. Rolls are 4 feet wide, so a 10-foot length gives you 40 square feet of flooring. Minimum order is 1 linear foot (4 square feet).
Can rubber flooring rolls be installed over concrete?
Yes — concrete is the most common subfloor. Rolls can be laid loose (no adhesive needed for most home gym applications), double-sided taped, or permanently glued with Rubber Flooring Adhesive 100 or 110 for commercial installs.
What is the rubber made from?
Our rolls use SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) from recycled tire rubber, manufactured in the USA. This is the same material used in professional sports facilities and commercial gyms. It's dense, impact-resistant, and built to outlast foam and vinyl alternatives.
