These tiles are resistant to mold and mildew growth. Taking care of your rubber tiles is simple due to their robust and easy-to-clean surface. These can be cleaned with soap and water.

Installation:

No tape or glue required. Installing these interlocking tiles is straightforward and typically completed by the customer. Simply lay the mats next to each other and snap together like puzzle pieces.

Use a utility knife when you need to trim rubber flooring tiles to fit around walls, corners, or equipment. It’s also the best tool for removing interlocking edges to create a smooth, straight line for a clean installation.

To place the tiles flush against a wall, use a 6" utility knife. If you want straight-edge tiles, view our 18 inch interlocking tiles.

Note: Adhesives are not usually needed, but you may use double-sided tape around the perimeter if tiles slide.

If my room doesn't fit exactly into the parameters of the tiles, how do I ensure there are no empty spaces?

This is incredibly common because, as you can imagine, there is no uniform room size. We recommend a couple of things:

1. Use our flooring calculator to get the recommendation. You can always order more if needed after you determine how the room looks and feels.
2. Your options would either then be to have some non-covered portion (this is most likely fairly small), or order extra (the calculator can account for this) and then cut the pieces on the ends with an Exacto knife to make it fit perfectly. We are glad to walk through that math with you.

What is the difference between these and your 18 inch tiles?

These are the same materials, just cut to different sizes. 18 inch tiles come with edge pieces and weigh less per tile. If you prefer straight edges you can use an exacto knife on these tiles as well. We sell exacto knives which can be used.

How do I choose between 18 inch or 24 inch tiles?

The main reason to choose 18 inches is if you prefer tiles that can be moved around easier due to smaller size and come with edge pieces.

What thickness do I need?
