Everything is great about the curl bar, except I think the diameter of the bar itself is too thick. When using weight lifting gloves , the grip is too fat and it would be much more comfortable if the bar diameter was maybe 1/8” smaller in diameter. I replaced my original bar from 40 years ago because the end bolt broke, but the bar on the older one is thinner and much more preferable from a griping standpoint because I wear gloves. I will now try and find the right replacement end bolt to fix my older curl bar, but I do like the design of the bends in the bar as this is exactly the same as the old one.
