Description

The Lightspeed is an ultralight racing shoe, designed with Elite Trail Runner, Juuso Simpanen, to be a fast shoe. It is recommended to order your actual shoe size.

The Lightspeed features VJ's SuperFOAMance midsole, which provides cushion and energy return. This supercritical foam is lighter, more responsive, more comfortable, and more propulsive than traditional EVA foam. SuperFOAMance is also more durable, less prone to ripping, and bonds better to the VJ grippy outsole.

The Lightspeed propulsion plate enhances rebound, improving running economy for faster or longer runs. This special polymer plate is made from renewable castor oil and is Y-shaped for stiffness, rebound, and increased lateral stability.

The upper is a light, breathable, durable one-piece design that, combined with the foot-shaped last, offers comfort and performance.

The Lightspeed is designed for use without a sock liner insert to achieve its lightest weight for maximum speed. If an insert is desired, it is included in the box.
