Installing these interlocking tiles is straightforward and typically completed by the customer. Because these mats are not as large as some, they are much easier to move around get in the right place. You can simply lay the tiles down and connect them together.
Note: Adhesives are generally not necessary when assembling interlocking tiles, as the product's weight usually prevents movement. However, if you encounter any sliding and want to secure the tiles further, you can use double-sided tape or mat tape around the installation's perimeter.

Skive/Knife marks on product is an inherent characteristic of using re-cycled rubber and will not be viewed as an appropriate reason for rejecting the final finished product. Physical proprieties can vary by product, including shading/color variation. A general-purpose flooring sealant is recommended to minimize any variations. This sheet information applies to this product only.

If my room doesn't fit exactly into the parameters of the tiles, how do I ensure there are no empty spaces?
This is incredibly common because as you can imagine there is no uniform room size. We recommend a couple of things: 1) Use our flooring calculator (linked above) to get the recommendation. You can always order more if you need to after you determine how the room looks and feels 2) Your options would either then be to have some non-covered portion (this is most likely fairly small) or order extra (the calculator can account for this) and then cut the pieces on the ends with an exacto knife to make it fit perfectly. We are glad to walk through that math with you.
