Strength coach & sports nutrition specialist · About the author
RACKED is a more interesting BCAA supplement because it works as both an intra-workout amino formula and a caffeine-free thermogenic.
You get 4g of BCAAs in a 2:1:1 ratio for muscle and recovery support then 1g each of L-Carnitine and Acetyl L-Carnitine. I also like the 1g Taurine, L-Tyrosine, and added electrolytes for hydration and maintaining performance and focus while you train.
The 4g BCAA dose is relatively modest compared with some standalone amino products. But, where RACKED makes the most sense is as a caffeine-free intra-workout during a cutting phase, particularly if you want something you can stack with a caffeinated pre-workout without adding more stimulants.*
