Iron Bean Coffee Company is a veteran-owned roaster turning out small-batch, roast-to-order coffee across light, medium, medium-dark, dark, and black roasts, plus flavored blends, single-origins, decaf, and K-cup compatible Kups.
The catalog spans signature roasts like Cast Iron and Thor, bold dark roasts like Fear No Evil, Odin, and Drink From the Skull of Your Enemy, fruit-forward Ethiopian naturals (Rocko, Dark Rocko) and a washed Yirgacheffe (Loki), highly caffeinated Fierce and Stay Awake, Swiss Water decaf, an espresso blend (Fuggedaboutit), and dessert-inspired flavors from Butter Pecan to Fudge Brownie.
Founded by Fred "Thor" Dedrick, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and Chanell "Mama Bean" Dedrick, Iron Bean roasts to order in small batches in Ohio using beans imported directly from Colombia, Brazil, Uganda, Honduras, Peru, Ethiopia, and Indonesia. The brand gives back to veterans and offers a coffee subscription for regulars.
