Q: What's the difference between Confetti, Regrind, and Standard rubber?
A: It comes down to material source and consistency. Confetti uses mixed-color recycled scraps (speckled look, slight variation roll to roll). Regrind uses more neutral/black recycled scraps (muted gray-black look). Standard uses controlled materials for the most uniform color and density.
Q: Why order tiles instead of rolls?
A: All Living.Fit rubber flooring uses the same material — the difference is handling. Rolls can weigh up to 150 lbs each, while these tiles range from 6–18 lbs depending on thickness, making them much easier to carry in, move around, or relocate later.
Q: What's the difference between these and your straight-edge tiles?
A: Same material, just cut to a different size — these do not include straight edges.
Q: What if my room doesn't fit the tiles exactly?
A: This is common, since room sizes vary. Use the flooring calculator on this page to get a recommended quantity — you can always order more once you see how the room looks. From there, you can either leave a small uncovered portion or order extra material and trim the end pieces with a utility knife for a precise fit. Contact us and we're happy to help with the math.

Installation
Q: Do I need tape or glue to install these tiles?
A: No — these tiles do not require tape or glue.
Care & Other
Q: Why do these tiles sometimes show knife/skive marks or slight color variation?
A: Skive or knife marks are a natural characteristic of recycled rubber and aren't a defect. Physical properties, including shading and color, can vary slightly by product. A general-purpose flooring sealant can help minimize this variation if desired.
Installing these interlocking tiles is straightforward and typically completed by the customer. Because these mats are not as rolls or mats, they are much easier to move around get in the right place. Here's a general guide for installation:
- Begin by cleaning your subfloor, ensuring it's free of dirt, grease, or debris.
- Start in one corner of the room with a corner tile, then add border tiles outward along the adjacent walls.
- Leave the other two edges of the room open and continue filling in the space, placing center, corner, and border tiles as needed.
- Once the open floor area is covered, return to the opposite walls and cut in tiles to fit. It's advisable to leave a small gap along the walls, approximately the thickness of the tiles, to allow for expansion and contraction due to temperature changes.
Note: Adhesives are generally not necessary when assembling interlocking tiles, as the product's weight usually prevents movement. However, if you encounter any sliding and want to secure the tiles further, you can use double-sided tape or mat tape around the installation's perimeter.
Maintenance & Care
These tiles are resistant to mold and mildew growth.Taking care of your rubber tiles is simple due to their robust and easy-to-clean surface. Here are some tips to keep your gym flooring in excellent condition:
- Regularly vacuum the surface to remove loose debris, crumbs, or dust.
- Occasionally, mop the tiles with a mild soap and water solution. We suggest using dish detergent.

USA-made interlocking rubber tiles praised for durability and easy installation. Customers said they're "perfect for garage gym" with excellent shock absorption and non-slip grip. The mat itself was ok, but the cuts were very rough and nothing was squaring. There were also pins in the mat that had to be removed.

I installed rubber rolls with grey flecks in my open rectangle room with a concrete floor.
I did use two sided tape from living.fit to keep the seams tight and the edges secure.
It turned out awesome and absolutely transformed and leveled up the room. Now it looks and feels like a gym.

We tried this flooring for under our rowing machine to keep it from moving up or back. It works great! Our row erg doesn't budge on this floor. We

They smell but they're great! Seriously, though, easy to assemble, quick shipping, and I love them in my gym.
These are so much better than the previous flooring I had. Previous stuff was always coming apart so was hesitant to go with tiles again but these look great and stay together no matter what. So impressed that I already ordered more to expand.

Good flooring over all. It doesn’t fit together perfectly at every seam, but over all does the job and looks better imo than horse stall matts. Also the ones I received had very little Oder, almost non at all. Would recommend for someone on a budget considering the shipping cost of other products
We got 7 boxes of tiles to make our gym mat in the garage. The mat is clearly excellent quality and was almost easy to assemble, the tricky part was that while all of the boxes were labeled “black”, there was definite color variation and had different shades of black. At the end, we organized it so it looked good. Great product

This product is great, super durable, very clean, very little rubber smell, easy to cut and install. The service is equally good in that I had an initial issue and LivingFit took care of it 100%. I could not be more pleased with how my home gym turned out.
Suggestion rather than a utility blade I invested in some high quality super sharp shop scissors at the big box orange home improvement store and cut the 9mm rubber along a straight edge vs slice it. I then used double sided 3M heavy duty tape from the same store to lock down all the edges and it is working perfectly vs a heavy glue installation. Could easily remove the product in the future if needed.

Amazing tiles!!
Makes my work out room look finished, the rubber allows for a cushion when laying down weights and kettlebells as well as adding insulation to my cold basement floor. Only thing to note is that a few of the times have a little gap between the notches. Might be user error. Very happy with them

In terms of the gap in the notches, this can be caused by a couple of different things from minor expansion or contraction from temperature changes or the tiles not being fully pressed together during installation.
