Animal Omega provides a comprehensive blend of essential fatty acids from seven sources, including fish oil, flaxseed, borage, and safflower oil. Each serving delivers over 2,100 mg of omega-3s, including EPA and DHA, which have established benefits for cardiovascular health. I particularly like the variety of fatty acids and enteric-coated softgels designed to reduce fishy burps.
However, the additional omega-6 fatty acids aren't necessarily beneficial for everyone, as most diets already provide sufficient amounts. Claims surrounding fat loss and enhanced metabolism are also less convincing.
Overall, it's a solid option, although a simpler EPA/DHA supplement may be more economical for most people.
