The AbMat Handstand Ramp is a two-section foam ramp designed as a safer alternative to wooden handstand boxes. Inspired by the story of CrossFit Games athlete Josh Mattes, who suffered serious facial injuries training on a wooden handstand box -- the AbMat team adapted their existing prototype and brought it to market with Josh as the spokesperson.
The ramp comprises two distinct sections -- a set of stairs and a ramp -- joined together by 3 inches of Velcro. Setup takes under a minute. The complete unit is lightweight enough to be moved and stored between workouts.
Dual-density foam core provides stability and comfort. The non-skid top combined with durable ripstop vinyl exterior gives athletes reliable grip and longevity for repeated handstand walk training.
