What makes Ascent whey protein 'clean'?

Ascent uses zero artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. Each serving contains 25g of protein with just 1g of naturally occurring sugar, sweetened only with stevia leaf extract, and made with native whey -- the least-processed whey protein available.

Is Ascent whey protein third-party tested?

Yes. Ascent is Informed Sport Certified, meaning every batch is tested for banned substances. It is also Certified Gluten Free and rBST/rBGH free.

What is native whey and why does it matter?

Native whey is extracted directly from Grade A milk using low-heat filtration in Ascent's own Colorado and California facilities, before cheese-making. The result is a less-denatured, higher-quality protein compared to standard whey that comes as a by-product of cheese production.

What sizes and flavors are available?

Core flavors (Chocolate, Vanilla Bean, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Mocha Cold Brew, Unflavored) come in 2lb. Chocolate and Vanilla Bean are also available in 1lb, 4lb, and 15-count single-serve trays; Chocolate Peanut Butter also in 4lb. Rotating seasonal flavors come only in 2lb and rotate through availability.
