I really like the maddog slingshot! Great piece of equipment. I upgraded from the full bore because I need a little more support to help with shoulder injuries. My full boar was totally broke in and this one needs a bit more of a break in period. Just have to be patient at first because it will feel a little small.

I really like the concept behind the Maddog Sling Shot and the build quality is excellent. The material feels durable and you can tell it’s designed to provide strong support during pressing movements. It definitely helps reinforce proper form and adds power to lifts. That said, the fit was much tighter than I expected. When I used it, it felt extremely tight around my arms and chest to the point where it became uncomfortable and started cutting off circulation in my arms during sets. Because of that, it was difficult to use it for longer workouts. Overall, it’s clearly a well-made training tool and I can see how it would be very effective for bench training, but I would recommend paying very close attention to sizing before purchasing.

The last time I hit 405 on bench was when I was powerlifting in ‘08. 3 weeks ago I hit 405 with ease using Maddog Sling Shot! By far one of the best investment I have ever done. I currently weight 182.

Been using it for a couple of months for overloading and keeping better form every other week went from 275 raw to 315 raw can comfortably hit 315 x5 or 6 with the sling shot and 355/365 as a heavy singles with the slingshot

I have used my slingshot for over a month. All I can say is I wished I would have discovered it sooner! Thanks so muck I have recommended it to all my patients and fellow gym rats!

Used friends before for bridge between SP and raw. Presently just training and wanted some overload. Always forget that it's actually easier with like 25% more weight than 10% more. Great for overload and also they warned about overtraining in an email after it shipped which was really responsible of them.

Must have bench press training gear as enables overloading for reps with good form and technique. Always use in performing 44 Magnum (Cluster Set) powerbuilding bench pressing in concluding bench press lifting: 75%-80% of 225 lb: 4 Sets at 4 Reps, Rest 20-30 Seconds, 4 Reps, Rest 20=30 Seconds, Then 1 Set at 4 Reps, Rest 20-30 Seconds, 4 Reps, Rest 20 Seconds-30 Seconds, 4 Reps 2 Second Pause (44 Reps). Also always use in performing pushups on barbell on lowest power rack setting.

I’ve been using the Mark Bell Maddog Slingshot for a 2 months now, and it’s honestly been a game changer for my bench press. With it, I hit my first 600 lb bench, which was a huge milestone for me. More importantly, it’s kept me safe under heavy loads. The support it provides at the bottom of the lift really reduces strain on the shoulders while still allowing you to overload the movement. It also helped clean up my technique and form. Because of the way it guides the bar path and reinforces proper positioning, I’ve been able to build better habits that carried over to my raw bench. I originally started using it while rehabbing torn rotator cuffs, and it made a big difference. Very good product. I currently bench only 325 raw and 385 with the yellow slingshot, but I insisted on trying it the maddog to try to reach 405 assisted. I did not yet tested it on a PR, but for submaximal work I can already see it helps more than the other slingshot models I'm 205lb and 17.5 in biceps and the size ordered fit perfectly (same size as my other slings)

I've had tremendous success with this for maxing out machines and working my way up ti four plates.

Helping me allot without unable to feel secure enough to do exercises, dr says no more then 50 pounds total, doing sets of 30 pound dumbbell presses for 10 reps, a fraction of old times but believe I'll need bigger weights soon. Shoulders main problem maybe 5 pounds but sling works for intended purposes. Thankyou very demeaning to loose strength after two years of not lifting this has helped tons.

I love this product. I've made it a new addition to my chest day and push days. My only complaint is my slingshot has stretched/ ripped, and folds over while I'm wearing it.
