BC Strength

BC Strength is the equipment line built by Dr. Bret Contreras, PhD — the researcher and trainer known worldwide as "The Glute Guy" and the inventor of the barbell hip thrust. Developed and battle-tested at his Glute Lab training facilities, every BC Strength product is designed around one principle: maximizing glute strength and size through evidence-based movement, not guesswork.

The lineup covers the full spectrum of glute-focused training. The Thruster 3.0 and Thruster Lite make loaded hip thrusts accessible at home, eliminating the awkward barbell setup that stops most people from doing the exercise correctly. Glute Loops and resistance bands deliver targeted activation and progressive overload for hip hinges, kickbacks, abductions, and accessory work. Weight plates, the BC T-Bell, and specialty barbells round out a complete system for serious lower-body development.

Whether you're a beginner building your first home gym or a competitive lifter chasing a bigger posterior chain, BC Strength equipment brings the science of the Glute Lab to your training — without needing to be in San Diego to use it.
