I'll be honest, I had never heard of SMAI prior to a recent Google search to find dip bars for my power rack. By chance I came across this dip attachment, which was similar to one made by a large, well-known fitness company, for almost a third of the price. I took a chance and ordered the dip station attachment for Vanta Series, and it has not disappointed. The unit is heavy (in a good way) and solid as a rock! The handles are knurled, but not aggressively so. The unit is very stable under load, no rocking or flexing. I have no hesitancy recommending this product.
