My fault for rushed shopping. Product is garbage. Contains ""carrageenan"" that poison trash ingredient shouldn't be in any product. Stay away from cookies n cream the smell of it is something like cayenne or paprika. This trash is also protein concentrate, not the best source. Better of drinking milk.👎👎

This protein mixes really well and tastes great! I like to cut it with water and it’s still good. No better value for getting your daily protein intake.

Switched to Animal Whey Isolate after trying a bunch of others. 25g protein, mixes super smooth even in almond milk, and the Cookies & Cream flavor actually tastes like dessert without being overly sweet or artificial. Added digestive enzymes are a game-changer—no stomach issues even after a big frozen veggie + banana smoothie. Low sugar keeps it clean for cutting. Worth the price—I'll repurchase!

Great price but the flavor is awful. Mixes well, consistency is more on the thick/gloopy side. Bought the chocolate flavor but does not taste remotely like chocolate, more cardboard like. In comparison to other protein brands (iso, gold standard etc) this one had the worst flavor. Have not tried the other flavors.

Been drinking protein powders for 10 years. This product does not dissolve as well as brands like ON Gold Standard Whey nor does it seem to digest as smoothly.

We’ve been using this brand, exclusively, for over a decade. We must have gotten a bad batch or they got a new horrible formula that, almost, tastes like strawberry and color wise - it looks like chocolate. Now I’m afraid to get this flavor again.

I’m giving this two stars because when it does mix, it actually tastes pretty good. That is a big WHEN. Out of all the times I tried it I had partial chunks of powder that did not dissolve completely or all the powder would settle at the bottom. I think I had one instance where it mixed perfectly and I tried multiple combinations of liquid; water, almond milk, dairy milk, and none were consistent enough. It is a shame as I used to use this protein powder a couple of years ago and found it nearly perfect and wanted to come back to it for the value. Unfortunately, I will not, I’m not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but I’m not a fan of chewing my protein shakes.

A good price for a whey protein. It is low in carbs and cholesterol, which being diabetic I love. 8 have only tried the chocolate, but find the taste quite good. I used the shake-it method, and it mixes nicely into a smooth almost creamy drink. I highly recommend

Really impressed with this protein powder. It mixes well without clumps and tastes great, which makes it easy to drink every day. It helps with recovery after workouts and keeps me feeling energized. The quality is excellent and you can tell it’s a solid product. Definitely worth it in 2026 👍

This stuff is some of the best and most easily tolerated by someone with gut issues like me but what I cannot tolerate is the $20 plus increase in price. That being what it is ALL quality protein powders have pretty much skyrocketed in price lately which has pushed me into better dietary choices so I can get more protein from my food, which is better anyways really. The ingredients are quality, The digestibilty is nice and easy, the flavor is really good, but the texture is a bit off because it does clump a bit, not a lot but enough to where it may bother some. It doesn't bother me but i can see how it would some people for sure.

My husband and I looked Specially myself having difficulty GI and til now I couldn't find a protein drink that won't hurt my stomach n the runs 😂 We Highly Recommended this product and all Animals item. Between we get all as well. Actually we been using all they're products and he won 3 first places at his last competition.

So delicious! Animal Protein is the only brand I use. Lots of protein, mixes well, low carb count. Not gritty, doesn't taste like ""health food"" or chemicals. I do add a few scoops of stevia sweetener because I like things very sweet. But most people would probably find this sweet enough. In the winter I actually even heated it up to make it like hot-chocolate! But be VERY careful if you do this. DO NOT heat it up too much, otherwise it will curdle up like cottage cheese....it was very strange! Sometimes I mix this with the Cookies and Cream flavor just to mix it up a bit. Definitely recommend Animal Whey. They are consistently great.

I'm new to working out and new to protein drinks. We tried a few you buy premade at the store but they're expensive and I didn't really like them that well. This tastes like chocolate milk! We mix ours with milk (in a shaker bottle) and leave it in the fridge while we are gone. I shake mine really hard and stick in the freezer for a few minutes to get it really cold, and bam it's like a healthy dessert. Haven't tried the flavors besides chocolate but this one is a winner.

Mixes good but taste horrible

Really wanted to like this product but it will not mix well inmy Shaker bottle. Do not buy this product if you actually want to use it!!!!!!

I love this isolate. Back in Jan, I paid $59, however, due to recent price change of $13 from $59, I will no longer be purchasing this from Animal, I'll look elsewhere. Thanks for the great ride, the value of the 4lb tub was fun while it lasted, but not falling for this price hike.

I really like this protein, pretty okay flavor. The big bag is a decent value. My understanding is that protein isolate is the best quality whey protein so it’s a little better than some competitors. I feel pretty satisfied after a serving. I think it mixes well but I usually use a blender for my shakes. I’ll definitely buy this one again and maybe try some other flavors too.
