This follow up to the Double Gains program will ensure you keep your strength and size gains moving upward as long as you progress within your abilities. This series will incorporate three parts per workout
Part 1: Strength/Skill Work. This is where you’ll be asked to move some weight and keep the reps low (under 6). The goal with this is to move up in weight with each series while staying within your strength and mobility.
Part 2: Hypertrophy Circuit. This will be a series of 3-4 movements with higher rep ranges (8-20) with slightly shorter rest periods. You’ll be moving weight ballistically as well as under control.
Part 3: High Rep Finisher. You’ll be forcing your body to grow with these high rep finishers that have been a staple of my hypertrophy programs for years. The goal is to pick a challenging, yet doable, weight that you can shoot for the number recommended (50-100). Time this set and attempt to decrease that time each session.
