300 words of what you do and why:

From an early age, I was a kid who read tonsssss.  And that worked it's way into auditing anatomy and physiology classes during my other course work.  I was fascinated by the human body and its ability to do everything. . . Move, digest, heal, be, exist, think.  So I finally funneled that passion into a PhD in Kinesiology.  Even while working for 14 yrs at a medical device company, I attended conferences on training.  At these conferences, I'd ask the trainers next to me if they read a study on this or that particular topic, and they looked at me like I'd sprouted another head.

My best friend (and now wifey) asked me what I thought I was put on this earth to do, and my response was . . . "I want to help people move and function and be better so that they are better humans." So from a passion and purpose perspective, my path has always been to understand the human body and all that it does . . .translate it from sciencey to applicable terms . . . And help myself and others be better.

 

The why?  Well the reason I read a bunch growing up is that I was “unathletic.” Or so I thought . . . But the truth is, me unraveling all my compensations including eye issues, movement issues and a multitude of other things . . .All of that pushed me in the direction of healing myself.   Now, I want to help others do the same thing without the decades of pain and research.
